The whole fam is down in 30A right now, and we’re having the best time soaking up the sunshine and exploring this beautiful stretch of Florida’s coast! Zach and I had a super quick work trip last week just the two of us, and we missed the girls the WHOLE time, so we’ve been loving this time with all four of us. There’s something so special about pressing pause and spending quality time together. The trip’s not over yet, but we couldn’t wait to share some of our favorite spots so far, from cozy cafés and waterfront dining to sweet treats and fun activities. There’s just so much charm and personality here. Stick around to the end because I’ll also be sharing some 30A outfit inspo and an expanded list of restaurant and activity recommendations to help make your own trip effortless and stylish!
Our Favorite Restaurants
We’ve visited so many fun places during our time in 30A, so I wanted to round up a few of our top picks so far!
Raw & Juicy Coffee Shop has been hands-down one of our favorite morning stops in 30A! The atmosphere is bright, welcoming, and laid-back, such a perfect way to start the day. Their fresh cold-pressed juices are the best wake-up call (and bonus: Emmy’s obsessed with them too!), and the coffee? So delicious. Just what we needed before heading to the beach or doing a little shopping. We also just love how quick and easy it is to grab a drink, and the staff is super friendly—it feels like a little morning pick-me-up, which is ideal when you’re not in the mood for a long sit-down breakfast. Whether you’re craving something light and refreshing or a serious caffeine fix, Raw & Juicy has you covered!
Bud and Alley’s Waterfront quickly became our go-to lunch spot! It’s right on the sand, so the views are amazing. The menu is packed with fresh seafood (which Zach and I are all about) and yummy Southern flavors that Emmy loves too. We devoured the crispy fish tacos, and the ceviche was unreal, exactly what we want by the water. The rooftop deck is perfect for relaxing with a drink and watching the waves. If you love ocean front restaurants as much as we do, this place hits the spot every time!
We ended one of our days at Heavenly’s Shortcakes & Ice Cream, and wow—this place lives up to the name. The desserts are incredible, and the shop itself is the cutest little spot, filled with fun beachy trinkets and souvenirs. It’s right in the heart of 30A, which makes it super easy to swing by after a full day in the sun. The vibe is adorable and the ice cream was SO good. Seriously, don’t skip this one!
These have been just a few of our faves so far during our week in 30A!! There are so many amazing spots to eat and explore, and we’re excited to keep soaking it all in over the next few days!
Our Favorite Activities
Alys Beach and Seaside have definitely been highlights of our trip so far. Alys feels super dreamy, white buildings, palm trees, and just overall super peaceful. We strolled around with iced coffees and honestly didn’t want to leave. Seaside, on the other hand, is full of color and energy! It’s packed with the cutest shops, vintage airstreams, and beach cruisers everywhere. It’s such a fun contrast, and both spots give you that classic 30A charm in totally different ways. The girls had so much fun walking around both!
We also spent an afternoon exploring 30Avenue, which was such a fun change of pace! It feels a little more polished, with great places to eat, cute shops, and palm-lined walkways. We grabbed drinks, did a little shopping, and just soaked up the sunshine together. It’s the perfect way to take a break from the beach but still feel like you’re on vacation.
If you’re around on a Saturday, do not miss the Seaside Farmers Market! It only happens once a week, so definitely try to time your visit around it if you can. We’ve been before and we’re actually planning to go again this weekend! The whole area comes alive with fresh flowers, local produce, delicious baked goods, handmade crafts—you name it. We always end up grabbing the best snacks and staying way longer than we plan!
