A LITTLE BACKSTORY

I graduated from Georgia College with a degree in Mass Communication & Marketing (aka learning how to talk to people and brands). I spent five years as the Director of PR for a women’s clothing retailer, running influencer programs, planning events, coordinating press and helping open new locations. After that, I worked as a Communications Specialist at a PR agency in Atlanta, GA. Soon after that in March of 2020, I lost my job, cried about it for 30 minutes and then decided to take a leap into blogging and content creation full-time. Turns out, all those years working on the brand side of marketing and influencer work made building my own business a lot less scary and all the more exciting.

I married my high school sweetheart, Zach, in 2017 and in the fall of 2022 he left his job at an Atlanta-based accounting firm to start working with me full-time. Getting to build our business side by side has been one of the most rewarding parts of this journey, and we’re incredibly grateful for the chance to do it together. We welcomed our first baby girl in the spring of 2022, and parenthood has easily become the best chapter of our lives. Spending time as a family is what grounds us, inspires our work, and keeps everything in perspective.
