Gift Guide: For Your Dad

Hey friends!

I solicited some advice on this one from my very own dad! In typical dad fashion, he EMAILED me back his thoughts on how you should shop for your dad for Christmas! Biggest tip… remember, your dad probably has plenty of ties. haha! Below his notes, I have put together my own “gift guide for your dad” that hopefully helps! But, like dad says “when in doubt, grab a gift card.”

TIPS FROM MY DAD

1. Know your Dad. If he likes cars – think car stuff. If he likes golf – think golf stuff. If he likes tools – think tools. How does he spend his time? You can ask your mom and she will know what he doesn’t have, but may not know what he really wants. Remember, he probably has enough ties.
2. Dads are cheap. Don’t break the bank on your dad – if you do, he’s thinking you’ll be hitting him up for money around June if you spend too much at Christmas.
3. In a pinch, think gift cards. But refer to #1. Don’t get him an AutoZone card, if he can’t change a spare tire. Think Amazon, his favorite restaurant, or something he can do with your mom…remember, he probably doesn’t do enough of that anyway.
